Description

Old bank wrapped original roll of silver dimes. The date on the dime showing is 1955. I weighed the roll and compared it to a regular roll of non silver dimes. A silver dime should weigh 2.5 grams × 50 = 125 grams. Clad dime is 2.27 × 50= 113.5 paper roll is .56 of a gram = 114.06.Scale is offa tiny bit but it's pretty close for a 10$ scale.

All silver = 125 grams
All clad = 113.5 grams.

Included pics of ends of the paper roll where it folds into the ends to show it wasn't tampered with.

Also I squeezed the roll to try and see the date better for pics and you can see the ring of toningvery well, the 2 end coins are in not so good shape obviously but if you look into the roll when squeezed, of what you can see, the coins look shiny brand new. And wow, that shine is nothing like anything I have seen. I would love to open this and see a whole coin! But I have to many bills and was recently laid off .
